Hello everyone, it took a while but I’ve finally got most of my new blog running. For those who want to know the difference, I’m still using Wordpress software but I’m no longer using their hosting. One major difference is in the address bar up top which doesn’t have the “.wordpress.com” in it.
I’ve taken this rout because I’m able to do much more with the blog now in terms of customizing the look, backup as well as managing the blog. Hopefully you will see some helpful features come up in the blog as well as I start using plug-ins(add ons).
Nothing’s really completely ’settled’ here yet in terms of customizing the site so you can consider this still on ‘trial’.(or in more geeky language – ‘beta’ 
) I will give a notice whenever I’ve added a new feature.
One feature I like which is inbuilt in this particular theme is the ‘on-the-fly’ comments section. It’s nice to be able to submit comments without needing to navigate to another page. Unfortunately I haven’t yet found a way to close it again should a user change their mind about commenting.
